Day 8 of Yule: Powerful Projections
Enjoy the evergreen symbols of protection and rebirth you have brought into your house and continue to welcome those of family and friends as they contribute to the abundance of your surroundings. Light a fresh yule candle as a symbol of the returning light and place it upon your Yule log to burn brightly in your home as a shining reminder.
Think about your family today and how they have contributed to your progress in life so far this year. We have already given thanks for their involvement and now it’s time to project your hopes and dreams for them in the year to come. It may be that you spend a lot of time with family and feel slightly pressured and overwhelmed by them at times; it may be that you don’t get to see your family as often as you’d like and miss their presence quite deeply. Whichever is true for you project health and happiness for their journey into the coming year; that their paths are meaningful and joyful. For those of you wishing to have more time away from family, visualise them enjoying their year without so much attention from you leaving you free to gain strength from standing on your own. For those of you wishing to see more of your family, visualise them being drawn to you in situations where you could do with extra support.
It may be that you experience conflict within your family, as is common with those that are closely related. This usually comes about because of the similarities of personalities which sometimes clash when brought together. It may be that one or other family members are quite overbearing, believing their way is the only way forward in situations leaving very little room for ‘quieter’ others to develop their own strength and confidence. Visualise this conflict melting away and project peace into any tense situations seeing those who are quite rigid becoming more flexible with their thoughts and those who are quite meek coming out of their personalities a little more to be heard by others.
